A few useful answers
Can you recover a password I forget?
No. Keep the password somewhere safe. Passwords used for processing are removed from the task options afterwards.
Does the recipient need PDF Tools?
No. The protected file can be opened in a compatible PDF reader using the password you set.
When are my files deleted?
Your task shows the exact expiry time. Files are removed automatically after expiry, or you can use “Delete now” to remove them sooner.
