A few useful answers

Is this the same as PDF to Images?

No. This tool extracts embedded image files, such as photos. PDF to Images renders the entire page, including text and vector graphics, into an image.

Why might a PDF have no images to extract?

A page can be made entirely from text and vector shapes. Those elements are not embedded image files. Use PDF to Images when you need a picture of the whole page.

When are my files deleted?

Your task shows the exact expiry time. Files are removed automatically after expiry, or you can use “Delete now” to remove them sooner.
